Love of Lavender

By Paul Carfagnini

Let me try some aromatherapy with you,  and share alluring news on Lavender.

I’m sure your nose will be aroused by this precious purple flower's attraction.  Let’s go a little further, and take our lust for lavender all the way to the kitchen.

Recent research says lavender is for lovers. The Smell and Taste Research Center in Chicago reports that men are turned on by the aroma of lavender more any other scent.

Fresh or dried, we can use this herb as an aphrodisiac flavor in foods.  Boil a dash of dried lavender with water and sugar, and pop in fresh lemon juice for a love tonic.

My friend loves this lavender lemonade with an extra shot of gin.

A sprinkle of fresh lavender chopped into chicken salad sends old-fashioned comfort food to a luscious level. Give your honey a bouquet of lavender and you might find a sexy surprise tonight.
