Buy the Glass or By the Bottle?

Have you ever noticed that most wines offered by the glass in restaurants are also sold by be the bottle?  

Are these featured wines the best way to go when ordering?    

It’s possible that high popularity for a wine in a restaurant gets it featured on the “by the glass” list.  When you order these wines you can feel confident you’re getting a popular wine customers have enjoyed.  

But there could be other factors. Preferences may vary from your expectations, so you never know for sure.  

Just ask for a small sample to check.  Because the restaurant will have an open bottle of the wines sold by the glass, it should be no problem. 

If you like the wine you might even go for a full bottle, or choose another wine to discover
